It's approaching that time of the year again, everybody should be gearing up for the annual PC Zone Birthday Sale!
PC Zone is a PC/Technology outlet that has branches in Ballito, Musgrave, and it's head office in Pinetown. Every year during the first weekend in October they celebrate their birthday, from the Friday to Sunday. Whether you are a amature pc user or an advanced gamer or developer, this sale will cater for you.
I've been to every PC Zone Birthday Sale in the past six years. And I must let you know it's an experience that you will not forget. There are two types of sales that go on, first you have the limited stock sale, where for e.g. first 10 or 100 customers get stuff at ridiculous prices, usually laptops and other gadgets or accessories. Then there is the ongoing sale, usually pc's and combo deals, where limited stock is allocated but abundant.
The que for this sale normally starts from about 5am and is at least 1000 people strong. So make sure you take some survival gear along, bearing in mind that the store only opens at 9am and only allow between 5 to 10 people at a time in the store. Another tip is know what you want, don't go into the store and start mosing around for stuff, the sales guys really don't have time for this and tend to hurry you along, a suggestion is to monitor their website www.pczone.co.za at least a week before you get there so that you know what you want.
